The Affordable Care Act

The open enrollment period for health insurance is November 1st to December 15th. There are certain situations in which you may still apply for Health Insurance after the period is over. Click Here to see if you qualify for a special enrollment period.

Medical Assistance Programs

Medicaid

Low income adults, children, pregnant women, elderly adults and the disabled may qualify for Medicaid. You may qualify for low cost or free care through Medicaid based on your income and family size.

CHIP

The Children’s Health Insurance Program covers children up to age 19 if their family’s income is too high to qualify for Medicaid.


Medicare

Medicare is a health insurance plan for seniors 65 years and older. Medicare also covers individuals under 65 who have been receiving Social Security Disability Insurance for more than 2 years and those with kidney failure. Click Here for more information about Medicare or call 800-772-1213.

Prescription Assistance

Partnership for Prescription Assistance helps qualifying patients without prescription drug coverage get the medicines they need through the program that is right for them – free of charge.


RxCut Plus

RxCut Plus program helps find access to savings of up to 87% on your prescription medications.


The FamilyWize Card can be used at participating pharmacies on any prescription that is NOT covered by any type of insurance. Provides flu shot vouchers for families and individuals who are uninsured or under-insured.
